The second coming has arrived and surprise, it’s not Christ.
In all my many years of writing and listening to music, there has never been as much hype for a Music Video as there is for the new Lady Gaga Video.
It’s Beyond ridiculous.
Fans and online netizens have been waiting more than six months for this video to Gaga’s Second single, Telephone. The Song features Beyonce and has been a fan favourite since it’s release last year.
Telephone is an incredible pop record, with extremely high quality production from Darkchild, Gaga has her best hit since Pokerface.
As for the video, before you watch it make sure you have the time, because it is 9 and a-half minuets long.
Also if you have a problem with Corse Language or Nudity, this is not the video for you.
I am not sure if the Video is better than the Video for Bad Romance but it’s certainly up there, I’m still undecided. One thing that is for sure is that this video is very strong visually and it will leave some very iconic images in the pop world.
FYI – The video is suppose to be a continuation of the Paparazzi video, if you want to see it first Click Here.
Without further adieu, here it is.

The English virtual band Gorillaz has a new album on the way, their third to date. The new album, Plastic Beach, has been 5 year’s in the making since 2005’s Demon Days which sold over 8million copies.
The video for the first single, Stylo, was released over night. I love the animation they do in their videos, so it worth watching just for that, also there is a Bruce Willis cameo – HARDCORE.

She’s tried Jazz, Pop and Dance, but now Brisbane based Songstress, Katie Noonan is going back to the style of music which created many hits for her during the late 90’s/early 00’s, in the band George.
Katie isn’t getting the old band back together, rather starting a new project titled Katie Noonan and The Captains.
The first single of their debut album is titled Page One.
While the sound is different from George, I think old fans and the alternative scene will be very happy with the new incarnation.

Arguably the biggest DJ in the world, Tiesto seems to be in a good place musically at the moment.
Steering away from the same sounding, overproduced, euro pop we are so used to hearing and heading down a more contemporary dance path, Tiesto is probably at the highest peak of his career so far.
His new single Who Wants To Be Alone, is liffeted from his latest release from last year Kaleidoscope.
The track features Nelly Furtado, whose distinctive sounding voice gives this song and real boost.
The video is a bit blah, but the song is quite good.

The Kings of dance are back with a new sound and new album in 2010.
After a three-year break Groove Armada will release their new album in February, titled Black Light.
The new single, Paper Romance, has a different sound, steering away from the expected club track and heading down a more pop route, with of course the signature heavy bass line.
We will be seeing these guys next week at the Big Day Out, so we’ll let you know how the new sound goes down live.

No Shit. I Am So Frickin Excited, I Might Die.
One of my favourite artists of all time Roisin Murphy has blessed us with the first official single from her upcoming third album.
There is no doubt that fans, myself included, have been waiting a while for this new material. The Track is called Momma’s Place, obviously connected to Roisin’s new addition to her family.
Momma’s place takes me right back to the 90’s Moloko material, it’s not known yet if this is one of the tracks she made with Andy Cato (Groove Armada) but it sure sounds like it.
Bow down to the Queen of Disco House.

There is no doubt that a lot of the readers on this site come here for one thing and no, its not for what you might think.
K-Pop or Korean Pop Music is a guilty pleasure of mine and our opinion and content from the K-Pop world counts for a large Chunk of what you readers like.
Since it has been such a big year for K-Pop on this site, I thought we should look back to where it all started.
With comparisons to Kylie Minogue and Madonna, Uhm Jung Hwa is certainly one of the biggest stars in Korea and has kept it that way for almost 15 years.
She was the one who popped our K-Pop cherry, with her hit D.I.S.C.O. Released about 1 and a half years ago D.I.S.C.O. caught our attention by fluke whilst looking for a video on youtube.
We thought it was hilarious and bad at the same time as thinking it was genius!
Especially the bit with the rapper who likes espresso.
Since then we have immersed ourselves into the K-Pop world, learning about the industry, the artists and even picking up a little of the language. Through this we bring you only the highest quality new k-Pop.
And The Rest is all history. There will be lots more K-Pop in 2010 so stay tuned and check out the song that started our obsession, below.
