For the second time in two days we are posting a second video for the same song, make any sense?

Last week who showed you the new video for OkGo’s second single, This Too Shall Pass. It was a monstrosity of amazement.

Turns out there is a second music video for the song, which was released just before it’s counterpart.

It’s not as amazing as the new video but it’s still pretty quirky.

If quirky is your thing then check it out below.

Take 2

Almost two years ago, Florence And The Machine released the video for her new single, Dog Days Are Over.

Present Day, and there is a bit of deja vu going on.

This week Florence released a new video for Dog Days as it is being re-released in the UK.

Take 2 is below.

Telephone

The second coming has arrived and surprise, it’s not Christ.

In all my many years of writing and listening to music, there has never been as much hype for a Music Video as there is for the new Lady Gaga Video.

It’s Beyond ridiculous.

Fans and online netizens have been waiting more than six months for this video to Gaga’s Second single, Telephone. The Song features Beyonce and has been a fan favourite since it’s release last year.

Telephone is an incredible pop record, with extremely high quality production from Darkchild, Gaga has her best hit since Pokerface.

As for the video, before you watch it make sure you have the time, because it is 9 and a-half minuets long.

Also if you have a problem with Corse Language or Nudity, this is not the video for you.

I am not sure if the Video is better than the Video for Bad Romance but it’s certainly up there, I’m still undecided. One thing that is for sure is that this video is very strong visually and it will leave some very iconic images in the pop world.

FYI – The video is suppose to be a continuation of the Paparazzi video, if you want to see it first Click Here.

Without further adieu, here it is.

Do Wah Doo

UK Songstress Kate Nash has spent the last 12months writing a new record for our listening pleasure and I am very happy to say it’s not far off.

Expected to be released mid April, My Best Friend Is You is the follow up to Kate’s critically acclaimed debut Made Of Bricks. The First taste we get from the new record is the single titled Do Wah Doo, a up-beat poppy track that takes on much more of Kate’s live sound.

It’s not the best song Kate has made, but I’m still excited to see what the full album can deliver. In the mean time check out the video for Do Wah Doo Below!

Giving Up The Gun

The Ivy-League, rich-kid hipster band Vampire Weekend has just released the music video for their actually pretty decent single, Giving Up The Gun, and you’ll be weired out by who they snagged to make an appearance!!

The clip, which involves a girl playing tennis in slow-motion on the set of Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance music video, features Joe Jonas, RZA, Lil’ Jon, and Jake Gyllenhaal!!

The song is off their second album, Contra, which we think is a pretty solid improvement from their first.

Who knew they had so many famous friends??

Ok Go

The new single off Ok Go’s third album, Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, is titled This Too Shall Pass. Don’t worry of you forget the name of the song because you will be seeing it everywhere for the next few months.

Just like they did for their track Her We Go Again, Ok Go have made a viral storm with their new video and it hasn’t even been released a week.

The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, where the “machine” was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs over the course of several months.

This will all make sense when you watch the video, it’s pretty fricken cool.

Stylo

The English virtual band Gorillaz has a new album on  the way, their third to date. The new album, Plastic Beach, has been 5 year’s in the making since 2005’s Demon Days which sold over 8million copies.

The video for the first single, Stylo, was released over night. I love the animation they do in their videos, so it worth watching just for that, also there is a Bruce Willis cameo – HARDCORE.

Brits 2010

Brit Awards 2010

The 2010 Brit Awards took place over night, with Lady Gaga taking home the most awards for her album The Fame.

To me, the Brits are pretty much the only music awards ceremony worth watching, this year they delivered with some amazing performances.

The top picks were-

Florence + The Machine and Dizzee Rascal

Lady Gaga

Lilly Allen

Best Outfit – She is nuts, but we love her.

Imma Be Rockin That Body

The Black Eyed Peas are currently experiencing the sort of success that newcomers could only dream of.

The  group has always been popular, selling millions of records in their long career. But this foursome is taking the next step in their career, asserting themselves as artists who can have 5, No.1’s off just one album and sell in excess of 20Million copies of just one of those singles. Predictions say that the group have sold more than 35Million singles off this latest album, The E.N.D.

With those sorts of figures, it’s not such a shock when you see they have spent a pretty penny on their new Music Video. The Pea’s have two new singles, one for the US, Imma Be, and another for the rest of the world, Rock That Body.

Instead of making two separate Music videos for the singles, someone made the decision to mix the two together.

Both the songs cross-over each other in a futuristic, effect laden, Mini Movie. This MV which runs at over 10min seems to be the vision of a little boys fantasy. It’s not the most amazing video ever, but it gets a pass.
